Applaus is a platform for cultural events (Web and App) with the ambition of making culture more accessible for everyone. We sell discounted last minute tickets for music, theatre, talks & movies, if the venues have additional tickets. Besides selling last-minute tickets, we have the largest cultural calendar in Denmark with all information about events. We look for a skilled developer, preferably with experience with React, JavaSrcipt and MongoDB.

Our ambition is to become the go to place for cultural events. We currently have agreements with a wide range of partner institution in the Copenhagen area. The app and website are in beta mode, being tested by both team members and external testers. Applaus will launch in February, so if you have an entrepreneurial mindset, you have the opportunity to join a hard-working and ambitious team.

The goal is to expand the product in Scandinavia in Q4 2018 and implement machine learning in our product to show relevant events to each user entering the platform. These algorithms are currently being developed by two interns from DTU.

The team consists of three founders in the mid-twenties, who are all enthusiastic about making the go to platform for cultural events. Steven is currently our responsible programmer for the app and web development due to his software engineering background and his many years of working experience with software development in all kinds of languages - also, he has experience as a management consultant. Jakob is primarily responsible for sales and partnership management since he has a background as a sales associate within banking and has a business degree – also, he is the office responsible who takes good care of everyone. Bjarke is focused on structuring our data and all aspects related to economics/finance since he has a degree in economics and experience from working in banking with statistics. But to make Applaus a success everyone overlaps one another from time to time.
