The opportunity

To become a part of a growing startup in a central role and at a crucial time. You’ll be part of shaping and developing our UX experience and ensure the quality of our design and usability. You’ll be reporting to the CTO and CEO and will act as a vital link between the UX design, the Customer Engagement team, and the development. There’s plenty of space to grow as a researcher, put your own spin on the practice, and work in a fresh start-up culture with a focus on quality over quantity. 

As a UX Researcher intern, you would ideally have

• Experience from roles such as UX Designer, UI Designer or other similar roles - project work also much appreciated
• Ability to have a holistic overview of a product and create sitemaps
• Design experiences across different screen-types and sizes (e.g. app/ web) - consistency scenarios
• Experience working with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and prototyping tools
• Understanding of and ability to apply user-behavioral patterns
• Some kind of experience working within the restaurant industry in order to understand the needs of our clients within UX
• Ability to work in an open, friendly, and informal organization where humor thrives

• Collaborate with developers and Customer Engagement team to implement new features and design changes
• Explore and describe creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, find-ability)
• Communicate design ideas and concepts to developers using visual material
• Conduct user research and testing
• Interpret the design onto all of the supported platforms
• Developing user stories catering to customer needs and new must-have features
• Keep the organization up-to-date on UX trends
