We're a small, ambitious startup with Silicon Valley experience that has recently moved to Copenhagen. Talking Ninja helps people learn a language. Our AI-powered, voice-based app allows users to chat with "Julia". Julia (conversational bot) will reply using only the words you already know or any new words you're learning. Our product is a mobile app that is centered around voice-conversations in a new language that users are learning. We are missing UX / UI / front-end design so we're looking for somebody that has a strong sense of design. The main task is to completely redesign our app and make it easy-to-use. The back-end and technology work very well, but we're loosing user engagement because the UX / UI is not well designed. 

You will have a free hand, meaning that it's completely up to you what you come up with. Of course we have some ideas, but if we decide to work together it means that we trust that you will come up with something awesome. 

The task includes everything from graphic design of individual components like fonts, buttons, etc. to overall UX and user flow through the app. 

We are not paying ourselves and the position is also unpaid at the time. We have just raised a small amount of money (from InnoBooster) and will raise more in the future so if we enjoy working together, this position will lead to a paid, full-time position. 

We don't have an office space and work from home, libraries, cafes, etc. We can meet and work together or you can work from home. It's up to you. This position is best suited for students or somebody starting out. Experience is not as important as your attitude and general passion for what you do.
