Passionate about events, the newest technologies and the start-up environment? Do you love the crazy, hectic and creative processes that goes into making a good event great? Then you might just be what TechBBQ’s looking for! We are gearing up for TechBBQ 2017 in September and looking for three great Backstage Managers!

You will report to our Head of Events and Programme. 

It is a volunteer position and the hours spent will mainly be up to and during the event 5th-6th September. 

As Backstage Manager you will actively help make TechBBQ 2017 a success.

Your tasks:

• Manage the backstage area
• Inform the speakers:
• - 5 minutes before they are going to the main stage 
• - 10 minutes before they are going to stage 2
• Lead speakers from backstage to stage 2 on time
• Be helpful to speakers and hosts
• Be familiar with the program and the speakers, as well as secure that the right speakers are on the right stage 
• Solve any encountered problems

Person:

• Keep an overview
• Understand when you should be visible and when you should be” a shadow “
• Professional and polite conduct
• Event experience not necessary, but desired
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to work with different kind of personality types
• Helpful
