Digital empowerment is our thing. We are a non-profit tech school for refugee and immigrant women, and we want you to join as a volunteer IT teacher. We are not gonna lure you in with cake and coffee, but instead with the opportunity to empower women, while connecting with the IT industry.

ReDI School of Digital Integration is looking for volunteer teachers, who want to support ethnic minority women in improving their digital skills. We are looking for volunteers interested in teaching at our Digital Literacy, JavaScript and User Experience courses.

As a teacher you will get the chance to:

• Design curriculum

• Develop course material

• Teach your class

• Build relationships with the IT industry

And last but not at all least, be part of a co-creating community, where you will meet a bunch of wonderful women, co-teachers and professionals from the business world in Copenhagen that we collaborate closely with. We believe that learning should be fun - just as we want you to have at our tech school.

Competences

You do not need to be a teacher or an IT professional to volunteer with us, but you do need to have a desire to empower ethnic minority women. Our Digital Literacy course is taught in Danish, and our JavaScript and User Experience courses are taught in English.

ABOUT REDI SCHOOL

ReDI School of Digital Integration is a non-profit tech school that offers free IT courses to women with refugee and immigrant background in Copenhagen. We started the school in June 2019 and has now celebrated the success of our first semester.

Our next semester starts February 2020 and runs 12-weeks with classes once a week. You will teach your own class together with a team of volunteer teachers.
