Hi there, I’m Michael, I lead the team here at meploy. We’re looking for a data-driven marketer to join our team, and, well, build up our data marketing strategy. Still being a relatively small team, we are not looking for title hunters, heck, I’m not even sure what title you should have, but here is my idea of what I believe we will be doing together.
While we are great at targeting large enterprise companies and closing deals (we grew 10X last year), we lack a strategy how to reach SMB’s and automate inbound activities. Our vision is to create one million daily jobs on meploy within 10 years, so we need to start in Denmark and get an initial idea how we will scale throughout Europe.
This will be your primary responsibility and where we will start off working. The first weeks you will spend with our head of sales, community operations team, product team and myself, and get into the details of what we have learned, what failed, and the data we have. From this we will start crafting a strategy and start experimenting.
The other side of our platform is the workforce - the meployees - our partners with whom we share 10% of our profit. As we have clients in all parts of Denmark, and soon Europe, we need to build a system that will automate the whole recruitment process by leveraging our existing community of over 10.000 sign-ups and other networks.
We would like you to work on this with our product & development team, and experiment your way forward. Simply put, we need a smooth machine in symphony with the activity on the platform.
Learn & iterate
Everyone working at meploy has a growth mentality - we are start-up after all - so we are not looking for a “growth hacker”, and I don’t think we will ever have a “growth team”. We are a data-driven company with an experimental mindset and big ambitions. Why in the end, what is most important is the attitude one has towards solving problems and working with the team.
HOW OUR WORK WEEK LOOKS LIKE
We start each Monday with a 30 minute team meeting where we lift what are the key focus areas for the week and status on projects. In the afternoon we have a management meeting to tackle process & team questions.
Everyone at meploy has their core responsibility, so where you work is not that interesting for us. So if you choose to work from home, or a café, as long it works with the team, that is up to you. We use Slack, Trello and google Drive to keep up us all in sync.
Wednesday we aim to find time for sparring on ideas and test on each other.
The week is rounded up Friday afternoon with a sum-up of the week.

To reach that, we fight to remove all barriers to get to an income and help each one build up a network of contacts and companies. The solution is a staffing platform for temporary work - a virtual temp agency - that puts companies in direct contact with a community of people looking for shifts or part-time work.
Unlike most labor platforms, we hire the workforce, pay taxes, pension, and we share 10% of our profit with everyone that uses us. We don't hide behind tech to avoid employer responsibility but aim to provide new ways of employment that benefit everyone - not just a few.
