More about Growing Food CPH

Growing Food CPH focuses on helping early-stage startups develop their food/food-tech idea or business further by providing them with knowledge and tailored mentoring within the areas of food-science, business model development and raising capital.

Behind Growing Food CPH are:

CAPNOVA A/S, investor and development experts providing early stage start-ups with specialist business experience and a strong network.

Dept. of Food Science at Copenhagen University (KU), experts on Microbiology & Fermentation, Ingredient & Dairy Technology, Design & Consumer Behavior and Chemometrics & Analytical Technology.

DTU, experts on food-related fields such as Food Hygiene, Food Production Engineering and Nano-Bio Science.

How much do they invest?

As a participant in Growing Food CPH you get sparring with high-level researchers, a mentor with extensive experience from either food science or business development, consulting from special advisors matching the exact needs of your startup (value between DKK 30-60,000) and the opportunity to pitch your idea to people from the food industry and potential investors.

How do they work?

You apply by filling out the application form here: http://www.growingfood.dk/who-can-apply/.
Growing Food CPH accepts applications on an ongoing basis, but will close for applications when they have reached the maximum number of participants (30 startups) – so hurry up and apply if you are interested!
The next (and last) round of the accelerator will kick-off in late January 2019.
All applications will be evaluated by staff from CAPNOVA A/S, KU and DTU. They may give you a call or send you an email if they have any questions to your application.

This makes a difference to them

Growing Food encourages all ambitious and innovative food startups and entrepreneurs to apply. Anyone with a good idea, you do not need to have registered company yet. The most important thing for them is that you are motivated to develop your business idea further.
