Infertility, affecting one out of six individuals globally, presents a significant and pressing challenge that profoundly impacts quality of life. The emotional burden of anxiety, stress, shame, and stigma associated with this condition is substantial. Current solutions, such as assisted reproductive therapy (IVF), are marred by challenges: they are costly, yield inconsistent outcomes, lack personalization, and exact a heavy toll—emotionally, physically, and financially.

We are currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert Entrepreneur in Residence/ Co-Founder to contribute significantly to shaping the scientific foundation of this venture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in reproductive medicine/ fertility and its interplay with diagnostics, prevention, and holistic care, ideally stemming from backgrounds such as medicine, functional medicine, scientific research/Ph.D., or academic leadership in reproductive medicine. 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate the value proposition, products, and services based on robust scientific insights.

• Develop a distinctive user experience methodology rooted in scientific expertise.

• Serve as the project's primary scientific advisor/lead, ensuring alignment with the latest research in reproductive science.

• Stay abreast of scientific advancements relevant to our solution and integrate them into our offerings.

• Cultivate strong relationships with our user community to ensure our offerings effectively address their needs.

• Engage with users to gather actionable feedback and iteratively refine our solutions.

About You:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with a demonstrated passion for and understanding of fertility.

• Experience in operating within high-growth startups or scale-ups is advantageous.

• Prior experience as a founder or co-founder or product/science lead of digital or digital health companies is desirable and advantageous.

• Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in Danish is a plus.

Practical Information:

As an Entrepreneur in Residence at KRING, you will be an integral part of our venture-building team, accelerating our venture's growth trajectory. Upon successfully validating the Fertility project, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Co-Founder role, with a competitive startup salary and equity package, driving the strategic direction of the new venture.

• Timeline: Ongoing interviews with a final application deadline of February 15th. The start date is flexible based on finding the right candidate.

• Location: We are open to working with talent worldwide, but founders must be willing to be in Copenhagen for at least a three-month validation phase. Our office is located at Ragnagade 7, 2100 Copenhagen.
