Data Science Intern

SYBO is growing. We’re releasing new games, building on the massive success of Subway Surfers as the most downloaded game of all time (4 billion downloads and counting!) and continuing to excite and surprise the most important people in the world: Our players!

We are looking for a talented Data Science Intern to join our Analytics team for 3 to 6 months. During this time, you will get the chance to dive into the exciting world of mobile gaming, to help us enhance our data understanding and innovate within our team.

If you are passionate about data, proactive and have a problem-solving mindset, we would love to have you onboard.

This internship is unpaid and full-time running for the fall semester in 2024.

Your time at SYBO

In your ramp-up month - During this time, you will get the opportunity to experience being part of a real analytics team and your first step will be discovering the gaming industry, SYBO and how our analytics team operates.

In your contributor months -  After this discovery period, you will be working a comprehensive investigation into a real gaming data problem with the help of the team. With this project, you will get the opportunity to enhance the game knowledge and provide concrete inputs on how to improve it.

Responsibilities

• Your role will lie in applying your analytical skills & creativity to large datasets.

• You will be looking for optimisations to contribute to the game performance. 

• You will get the freedom to propose new ideas, and present them to stakeholders within the company.

Requirements

• Experience in a programming language such as Python or R Studio, as well as basics in SQL

• Experience with data handling (data collection, cleaning, autonomous exploration etc.)

• Understanding of statistical analysis 

It is a requirement to be enrolled in a university program that supports a full-time internship as part of the education - and you need to be able to commute to our Copenhagen office on a daily basis.

We do not offer relocation, VISA, or house search assistance for internships.
