In recent years, we've been extremely busy developing our software which now assists more than 2500 golf clubs worldwide in gaining insights into their guests and members through our survey platform. Their responses make up a valuable dataset, now allowing us to carry out targeted communication efforts for a global audience - an effort where you will play a key role as an intern in our communications department.

Your tasks as an intern at Players 1st

As an intern at Players 1st, you don't need to be a golf expert. We're much more interested in your marketing and communications skills. Project management, strategic work, idea development, customer contact - you name it! However, it's particularly beneficial if you're a fan of written communication through articles and press releases, as our blog is our primary method of sharing articles and our unique insights.

Tasks include

• Idea generation and creation of articles in both long and short formats for our various platforms such as our blog.

• Conducting interviews with stakeholders, partners, and clients to create customer profiles and stories from around the world.

• Taking the lead on press releases, from planning and writing to distribution to global media.

• Project management for initiatives of various communicative sizes, such as the development of potential publications.

Who are you?

You enjoy working in an environment built on trust and personal responsibility, where a light-hearted approach is valued. You are also full of initiative and actively contributes input to content.

Your skills

• Enrolled in a relevant academic program within communication, journalism, media science, marketing, etc.

• Living in Aarhus, as you will be working closely with your colleagues – but remote work is also an option.

• Interested in golf, as it's a plus – but not a requirement.

• Fluent in English, as it constitutes 99% of the language in your tasks – but you'll have access to language tools.

• Ready to familiarize yourself with various AI programs.

Players 1st consists of 21 full-time employees, with 16 based at the headquarter in Aarhus. Your position as an intern will be in the communications department, where you will be mentored by the other communication professionals.

Practical information
