About the position

At Workjoy we are on a mission to make work more joyful. Our goal is that every employee should look equally forward to Fridays and Mondays. We believe that the best way to do this is by providing overwhelmed leaders with better tools to align themselves and their teams.

Your job will be key to this mission.

You will:

1. help leaders understand how our features can solve their real-world problems.

2. identify and interview great leaders and share their expertise and best practices with other leaders.

At Workjoy we want you to succeed.

We take the outset in your current skills and level them up based on our years of real-world experience. For each step, we set clear goals and outlines and week-by-week grow your responsibilities. An outline of your responsibilities could take the form of:

1. Write a handful of more generic articles on topics relevant to leaders. Here you will learn the basics of writing well for an internet audience, capturing attention and writing for SEO.

2. The next step is writing a handful of "how to" articles about our features. What you will learn here is converting software features into real-world use cases for leaders.

3. Once your writing is stellar you will start by booking in interviews with great leaders who want to share their experiences. Here you will learn to be proactive and pitch well - crucial in a job-seeking process.

4. The interviews will be conducted by our CEO and together with him you will identify and write the best learnings from leaders. Learning from leaders' real-world experiences is the best intro to a career in leadership.

5. In the end, we hope that you have gained enough experience to conduct a handful of interviews yourself and own the process.
