QA Intern

SYBO is growing. We’re releasing new games, building on the massive success of Subway Surfers as the most downloaded game of all time (4 billion downloads and counting!) and continuing to excite and surprise the most important people in the world: Our players!

We are looking for a QA Intern, who will be working with our game teams, such as Art, Design & Game Engineering, who are all striving to make a cohesive, clear player experience on Subway Surfers. Help us raise questions, think of creative solutions and take initiative to push us forward!

This internship is unpaid and full-time running for the fall semester in 2024.

Your time at SYBO

In your ramp-up month 

Onboarding is crucial for ensuring that you are well-equipped to contribute effectively, learn and have a great experience during your internship. Therefore you’ll go through the following steps:

• Week 1: Orientation and Introduction to the Company

• Week 2: Understanding the QA Process

• Week 3: Hands-on Training

• Week 4: Project Integration and Other Topics

In your contributor months, you will be part of the Subway Surfers crew, responsible for the content releases (new characters, boards, outfits, environments, etc.). We expect you to help the team execute test cases, validate the bugs and ensure that our players have the best experience possible. The goal of the internship is to have a glance of what being a QA tester involves, the responsibility and the tasks that we do in our day to day to ensure we reach the quality standards of Subway Surfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide written reports on bugs, unwanted game behaviors or visual errors with clear recreate steps.

• Reproducing reported bugs from both the development team and customers.

• Execute regular testing on multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Kindle and WP) and devices.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Strong critical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• A drive for product success.

It is a requirement to be enrolled in a university program that supports a full-time internship as part of the education - and you need to be able to commute to our Copenhagen office on a daily basis.

We do not offer relocation, VISA, or house search assistance for internships.
