Comeat is an international dinner club in Copenhagen and Milan. We have a web app (Angular, .NET) and mobile apps for iOS and Android (Native script) hosted on AWS. Our platform is currently live as a beta version, and we now want to improve it based on learnings we got from having real users. We need your help to make this upgrade. Apply for this internship if you are not afraid to work with complex code, want to build stuff from scratch, implement new features, and gain some experience.

About out platform:

Our system is comprised by the front-end built in Angular, the back-end in .Net core with C# and a hybrid mobile app written in NativeScript with Angular. The database is MariaDB. Our applications are hosted on AWS. We are using S3 for static webpage hosting and docker containers for the back-end and we are aiming to move to a microservice architecture with Serverless and potentially Kubernetes. We would like to also re-write the mobile app in Flutter and Dart and introduce automated testing in our CI/CD pipelines.

The job at hand:

We have a list of features we would like to implement. Some of the work you will have to help design as well as code. You will be working mainly with our CEO Sofie, who is defining and prioritising the tasks, and you will get remote guidance from our CTO Yuvraj, and our System Architect Giorgos.

Experience needed:

• C#

• TypeScript

• Version control system such as Git

• Knowledge with Docker

• Testing frameworks such as xUnit

• Willing to learn new technologies

• Problem solving

• Self-driven and structured

• Motivated to work with a international team

• BSc or MSc student on Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.

• Living in Copenhagen

We would like someone who can work 3-5 days per week, and would prefer if the developer is available for 6 months, to create some real impact on our platform. It is ideal if you can use it for a school project or to gain your first experience after graduation.
