Want to help us put a dent in the universe? We seek a skilled junior App Developer who wants to be part of a unique start-up company, that connects technology, clinical healthcare knowledge and creative visual communication. We are building and running our own platform aimed for a global health care market and we are developing and maintaining a global NGO mHealth platform that is now used in more than 30 countries.

YOUR SKILLS

You work independently and already have experience with app development. You are fluent in JavaScript and possibly also ReactJS. You have an understanding of database concepts and are somewhat familiar with SQL and possibly NoSQL.

YOUR TASKS

You will be working with our development team to develop and manage our web apps and our mobile apps on iOS and Android, using React and React Native. During your work you will get to know technologies such as NodeJS, Redux and Koa, and get familiar with cloud techniques. Prior knowledge of these technologies are not required.

WHAT WE OFFER

We move quickly from idea to action and you will also get space for your own ideas. We have office in Aarhus N, Denmark, were we will want you to work. We often have bread and coffee in the morning and sometimes cake. We occasionally play games on our Playstation, we go on excursions and we drink a beer or a glas of wine now and then. We have a nice canteen with healthy food every day and the new light rail stops right outside our door. This is a full-time position, but we are flexible in a start-up period, if there is a need to begin gradually. Wages, pensions, maternity leave, etc., we will talk about. Starting May 2018.

ABOUT VISIKON

Visikon is a young and visionary company that develops and operates a digital communication platform with mobile apps for patients and healthcare professionals. We focus on value creation and measurable effects, which is why we are also involved in research projects. Our own app for hospitals, in Denmark called Mit Forløb, is undergoing a lot of development and scaling to a global market, and we use this platform technology to also support other mHealth app projects. We are also the developers behind the Safe Delivery App, an international mHealth project, that was represented in Tim Cook’s keynote at WWDC 2016 and has gained the support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
