We are seeking a highly-motivated human to join our purpose-driven IMPACTR team to help us drive sustainability impact!

We are flexible in terms of how you want to work and what hours you can put it, so we´d love to hear from you on how we can make this work together!

We are looking for a Back End Developer with ideally full-stack capabilities. This key role in our startup is to drive the development of our MVP.

Our MVP has basic functionalities like in a typical social app and a marketplace, so we expect to be able to implement / utilise as much standard and off the shelf open-source code as possible to fast track the initial development.    

In this role you will also be supported by our highly experienced CXO/CTO and you will work together with other IMPACTR developers as well. 

For the MVP build, the key skills/experienced needed are:

• Indicatively (these are flexible for the right developer): React + APIs + Docker + PWA framework

You will ideally have a strong understanding of:

• React Native
• Node Js
• MongoDB
• Docker

In addition, the Backend Developer will:

• Have a strong understanding of JavaScript for iOS and Android development as they will help create the foundation for this app.
• Be curious, research and utilise the latest capabilities available to create a social network app.
• Have a solid understanding of APIs and give direction as to which APIs to use.
• Guide on which engine cloud hosting we should use such as AWS, Firebase, DigitalOcean.
• Guide version control of the app, our code base and so forth, i.e. structuring the development workflow using Git.
• Security is a top priority, including help to build a rock solid authentication using JWT.

This person with push hard to build the foundation for an MVP product and further platform development by establishing sharp strategic planning in a time-crunched environment. Initially we are considering to rollout our MVP as fast as possible using a PWA (Progressive Web App) solution, and then move onto a Native app subsequently.

This IMPACTR Developer will contribute actively with open-minded ideas and will continuously find the optimal tools for building efficiently and with integrity and scalability. This person leaves the ego at the door and establishes great relationships that grow the company as well as their colleagues.   

You will be passionate about continuously researching and utilising the latest ideas, critical thoughts and innovations in your field to keep IMPACTR ahead of trends and at the forefront of developments in digital marketing and social media.
