That’s why we need to add another talented Back-End Engineer to our team.

Famly has been in the market for 5 years, and is used by thousands of parents every day in UK, US, Germany and Denmark. We have received investments from prominent angel investors such as Klaus Nyengaard (Just Eat), Christian Birk (Endomondo), Alexander Aghassipour & Morten Primdahl (Zendesk), and Peter and Susanne Gjørup (Top Toy). We’re based in central Copenhagen, and are expanding our product market fit across various international markets. That’s why we need to add an extraordinary back-end engineer to our team.

Job Description

We’re looking for an ambitious and talented back-end engineer, who wants to learn and grow with the company. You will be working with a close-knit team of colleagues on a variety of technical challenges, while developing new features and improving on existing ones.

Core responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and deploying new features and services.
• Managing core infrastructure (such as Kubernetes, MySQL, ElasticSearch)
• Improving internal tools to ease development.

Job requirements

• Proven work experience as a back-end developer
• Experience with developing web applications
• Experience working with cloud and container technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• A desire to influence development practices as well as the tech stack.
• An entrepreneurial spirit.

Extra credit:

• Experience with functional programming
• Experience with Kubernetes
