At EvoPlexus Medics ApS, we focus on Precision Medicine and Individualised Healthcare using AI, Machine Learning, Big Data etc. (We have our own patent pending Machine Learning platform). We are looking for a Business Development Intern for a period of 3 months, who can support us understanding the market, generate leads and tweak/help build a SaaS application based on the strong technical foundation Evoplexus has been built on.

Based on a good level of understanding of our product offering (which you will learn on the job) you will both research and suggest pricing & business models and armed with that knowledge you will target relevant customer segments and do outbound sales activities (with plenty of freedom to be creative). Your ultimate goal will be to convert leads into (demo) meetings.

Your tasks may also include doing work to support inbound sales leads, such as working with published material via mail, web, social media etc.

Candidate's responsibilities:

  • B2B lead generation by doing data mining and market research

  • Convert leads into (demo) meetings

  • Identify and establish partnerships

  • Perform market research

  • Support Social Media activities and monitor performance to optimise content

  • Learn and improve alongside the company’s core team members

  • Be actively part of business strategy meetings

  • We offer a flexible working schedule, but it is important that you at least check your email inbox every day and answer relevant emails without delay. It is expected that you work 4 days a week.

  • For the right candidate it will be possible to work remotely.

Since many unforeseen tasks may pop up during the early phases of a start-up, it is important that you are willing and prepared to deal with various unforseen tasks that may come up, and that you for this reason have a very clear "can-do" attitude.

Candidate's requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters in Marketing or Business Administration or related field

  • Interest in working for a start-up and within the medical/healthcare technology field(s)

  • Experience with or some knowledge of a CRM platform (e.g. HubSpot)

  • Good understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles

  • Analytic mindset and approach to solving tasks

  • Strong communication, editing, and writing skills

  • Good interpersonal and team working skills

  • Exhibits personal initiative and independence

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, and one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian). Other languages is plus

  • Interest and motivation to be make your mark on the company’s business development

  • You are ambitious and like to be challenged both personally and professionally

  • You are a team player, but can work independently

  • You are well articulated and find it easy to communicate with people at all levels

  • As a person you are open, responsible and thorough, with eye for details

  • You are someone who can see the bigger picture, think outside the box and execute

  • You always find new ways of reaching the most amount of potential users

  • You are driven to grow your skills and use them to make an impact

  • You can be self-motivated and work independently to deliver on set targets.

At EvoPlexus Medics ApS, we focus on Precision Medicine and Individualised Healthcare mainly using our own Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Platform (patent pending), which was designed and developed originally by its founders, many years ago. EvoPlexus Medics grew out from our consultancy company EvoPlexus, which has been active in providing R&D consultancy within the fields of Machine Learning, AI and Information Technology to various industries, including healthcare, education, communication etc. for several years, and with its founders being active in these fields for over two decades. Currently we have several very high impact and interesting projects ongoing with various partners, hospitals, universities, government entities and private organisations. Using our past experiences from these fields, we try to identify bottlenecks and/or help in improving healthcare treatment planning, provision and diagnosis for different patient cohorts. Our ultimate goal is to improve patient quality of life, make treatment and medication more precise and tailored to individual patients. Our work also result in reduced healthcare-related costs, with massive savings for certain health problems, for providers, society, and in certain situations also for the individual patients. We conduct extensive R&D into individual health problems with experts within medicine, healthcare, social and data science. We are always aiming to find novel and more powerful algorithms and methods to make our models and solutions more precise.
