Neighbourhood Voices is a site/app where locals in the communities finally get a voice, providing advice to tourists through videos about their favourite restaurants, cafés, bars, attractions. Next step is possibly to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), a prototype of the site/app based on a specific neighbourhood in CPH. Then rest of CPH and then scale it to other European cities. It would therefore be great if you had some knowledge or interest of working with apps, websites and start-ups.

Neighbourhood Voices is an ambitious start-up that aims to change how tourists choose experiences and view these experiences. It provides a strong alternative to TripAdvisor and other existing travel apps and it is a project that hopefully will be scaled to every big city in Europe. Is that something you want to be part of?

As a co-founder you will have a variety of tasks and basically you can develop and shape the company in the direction you wish - in close cooperation with the existing founder. Possible taks could be to set business strategy, and define business partners as well as evaluate business model in cooperation with founder. Other tasks may be to record videos with locals and edit these and adding them to the app/site. Also, contacting and talking to various stakeholders as well as establishing distribution channels and marketing channels. However, as a co-founder you are an equal partner who decides the strategy and provide input into how things should be done going forward. Maybe you have suggestions that can take the app/site in a whole new direction. New ideas and thoughts are welcome!

You should be a person who is ambitious, creative, organised and focused, who wants to develop this company into a major player in the tourism industry + a sense of humour - that always helps!  

In the initial stages it is important to create a small prototype (MVP) and determine proof of concept. Hence, it is not something you have to give up your day job and career for. It can be done part-time. However, if MVP is succesful, then one can reevaluate options.
