Are you a tech savvy person and you love organising events? We need help putting together the most cutting edge and intrinsic programme and portfolio of speakers TechBBQ has had so far!

At TechBBQ we build communities and foster growth for startups and scaleups based on the Nordic values of overcoming egos and barriers and promoting openness, trust and inclusion. We pride ourselves for our eye to eye and democratic approach and the way we share the vibes of an intimate and festive barbecue. That said TechBBQ has grown to be the largest tech and startup event in Scandinavia, estimating 8000 attendees this year. 

Your tasks will primarily be assisting with: 

• contacting speakers 
• maintaining speakers lists  
• getting specific information from speakers for the programme 
• developing the programme 
• organising flagships events
• put in place guest logistics strategy 
•  Research 

We are looking for you who…

• Have previous event organisation experience 
• Are good at communicating and networking (both online and in person) 
• Can keep an overview of a complex web of speakers (and possibly stages and satellite events)
• Are knowledgeable in the tech industry  
• Can work on Adobe, and/or other graphic design tools (desired)

You are:

• Passionate, outspoken and charismatic 
• Good with people 
• Independent and highly organised

Working hours:

• Approx 15 to 20 hours a week
• Work hours are primarily within ordinary working hours (Mon-Fri 9-17)
• We are flexible on when and where you want to work 
• up to and during the event, longer hours and weekend work must be expected
