What we offer

The Digital Design Intern position is an opportunity for you to get hands-on experience with in-house web design and how it works as part of a broader, long-term company strategy which includes input and cooperation with operations, marketing, and development. More than just experience, however, this position will give you responsibility for your own work, and the opportunity to add your creativity and insight to a given project.

You will be:

• Working closely with our lead Product Designer, Head of Marketing and Head of Paid Media to help realise and execute design concepts.
• Designing digital materials including, email templates (Mailchimp), static and dynamic banner ads for Google Display Network and Facebook, social media content, and Microsoft office templates.
• Designing website templates and creating assets for our website and mobile apps, together with our lead Product Designer and UX specialist.
• Juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Contributing to the development of our digital marketing and communications strategies.

Who you are

Our ideal Digital Design Intern is a creative (naturally), ambitious, and versatile individual, capable of working on a variety of materials to help us improve our brand. Your educational background can stretch anywhere from self-taught to highly educated, and you are still building experience—what's most important to us, and to our ideal candidate, is your passion and dedication to developing your content creation skills.

• You have a solid understanding of (or education in) Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interaction Design, and UI/UX Design.
• You are a conceptual thinker and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in English, which is our working language.
• You possess excellent visual design skills and the ability to present your work.
• You have good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word and Powerpoint) programs; Knowledge in Sketch and Adobe XD are a plus.
• You are used to working with WordPress and visual builder
• You are familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• You have a fair amount of freelance experience.

• Full-time, paid internship (Flexible 37 hours/week to accommodate exams, theses, student jobs [etc.])
• 6 month internship period, starting Fall 2018 with a possibility to turn into a full-time position
