Ambitious Financial Controller (student) for high-end boat builder

The company was founded in Denmark in 2014 and has quickly become one of the most attractive boat builders in the segment of luxury motorboats, including product development, production and sales of innovative electrical motorboats.

For the Danish team headquartered in the old warehouses in Nordhavn we are looking for a student eager to become part of the journey. The right candidate has a sharp eye for structure and process and will find great motivation in being the anchor point for day-to-day financial operations. The job carries tremendous responsibility that means ample opportunities to grow at the same pace of the company.

As Financial Controller at RAND Boats you will be responsible for:

• Financial controlling
• Cash-flow management
• Daily accounting
• Payroll management
• Debit and credit controlling
• Supporting sales and production
• VAT and tax statements
• Contact with bank, auditor and tax authorities
• Miscellaneous reporting and analysis
• Optimization of procedures and processes
• Supporting contractual agreements

The ideal candidate in short:

• Independent, structured and curious
• Analytical and problem-solving skills – with attention to detail being a must
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, Economic, etc.)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student with strong quantitative focus, e.g. finance or economics from a renowned university or business school
• Strong academic performance
• Writes and speaks both Danish and English

This is a paid position reporting directly to the management team with approximately 20 hours per week.
