We are a young lifestyle brand and we are sending our very first urban and sustainable bag collection on the streets in short time. With sky-high ambitions and a solid experience within brand building and scaling of consumer brand companies we are looking to create the most interesting bag brand in the world. Now we are looking for a freelance designer to create our next collection. You will get full responsibility to create our next collection of bags and you will be a part of a great team.

In the job as a designer, you are given responsibility for Kintobe's next collection - that is, everything from design and sourcing to collection planning. Since we do not yet have design skills in-house, we are looking for you who are ready to take responsibility for design and can show us what our next collection (s) will look like.

- Interest drawing of styles for production

- Communicating with and visiting suppliers

- Order orders for sales samples and collections

Profile

The ideal profile has loads of drive and visions and is eager to make a difference. We can't tell exactly who you are, but you are probably working as a designer today and are ready to take the leap as overall responsible for the design / product. You have reached the point of your career where you have the skills, the experience and the courage to be in charge of creating a successful collection.

Experience in designing bags is of course a huge advantage but not a must. However you probably have some clear cut visions of how your designs can meet our target group's need to get something that both compliments their identity, is within Kintobe's brand AND which is at the same time super functional.

• Have a relevant education in design

• Have a sharp aesthetic sense and can familiarize yourself with the needs of the target audience

• In the know of the latest fashion trends

• Has the ability to design bags that have attitude AND that are functional

• You have a deep knowledge of materials

• Have experience with production in Asia, preferably sustainable production

• Ability to be pragmatic in terms of getting design ambitions, timeline and product budget to align

• Can work independently but works well in a team

• Am ambitious and passionate about translating your ideas into reality

• Have experience from a similar position and / or previously worked in the fashion industry - minimum 5 years experience
