Better Collective is an award-winning company looking for an experienced full-stack developer to contribute to bringing a new progressive web app to our 15+ million yearly visitors.

As a Full-Stack Developer at Better Collective you will primarily work with the development of a new foundation for our product bettingexpert. The new version of bettingexpert is a single page application built in Angular. You will work closely together with other developers, UX’ers and designers in an agile environment. The team consists of dedicated and highly skilled employees emphasising the value of sharing knowledge and experience. We work with contemporary technologies (e.g. Angular and ElasticSearch) and development tools (github, Slack and Jira).

We expect that you take ownership and responsibility of the components that you are working on.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum of 6+ years of web development experience.
• Experience with APIs e.g. REST, GraphQL.
• Has built systems based on PHP frameworks such as Slim and Doctrine.
• Has built single page applications with NodeJS and/or Angular.
• Familiar with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch.
• Views unit testing as a natural part of the development process.
• Is motivated by shipping products millions of users actually use.
