• As you love startups you understand that we might not have tons of money – but with joint cooperation soon we will and you’ll have the opportunity to evolve, grow and become lead of a department.
• You love-love-love to communicate hence you find it obvious that we encourage each other, we show and tell each other what tasks we are working on and we respect our co-workers enough to not let them wait for answers. For this we use Slack and Trello.
• You understand that if there’s a deadline we all chip in.
• You have excellent skills when it comes to working on multiple projects at once and you don’t find it horrific to have to leave a project for a day or two to dig into another, more urgent task.

REQUIREMENTS – THE SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS WE REQUIRE:

• You have documented experience in senior backend and frontend website development in WordPress.
• You know your way around child themes, functions and hooks – and you use them. By that we mean: You wouldn’t ever consider altering parent theme code, WordPress core or plugin code or even add hardcoded URL’s. Instead you use hooks a lot, change markup in child theme (so parent style will not be affected), use functions etc.
• You have advanced level competency with CSS & HTML (Sass, HTML5/CSS3 a big plus, as well as responsive design techniques) although your force is mainly backend stuff.
• You have advanced level competency with JavaScript, jQuery and/or AJAX.
• You are able to perform specific backend development tasks (ie: building simple widgets & plugins).
• You love to work with API’s.
• You have great knowledge when it comes to troubleshooting browser compatibilities.
• You know how to speed optimize your work during and after coding.
• You have sound knowledge in troubleshooting server issues.
• You have broad understanding of UI and UX guidelines and possibilities
