Founded in Copenhagen in 2016 by two former Deloitte Consultants, BARONS is a 100% online focused luxury shirt brand, sold directly to the end-user at affordable prices. We have a clear ambition to constantly challenge status quo in a very conservative industry.

We only offer a few classical styles and focus instead on volume and branding. It is our clear goal to make it as easy as possible for the customer to continuously fill up the wardrobe with crisp new business shirts. 

Unlike most other clothing companies, we develop our own signature fabrics, which gives us the opportunity to constantly improve our products. We have a clear ambition to make the perfect business shirt and we have already come a long way.

So far, our main focus has been to obtain proof-of-business in Denmark where we have sold more than 10.000 shirts during the last 18 months. We will now focus on international expansion. We are ready to launch our new e-commerce platform, which will help us accomplice our ambitious international expansion strategy.

What will be your role?

You will be responsible for the implementation of our new WooCommerce platform and the roll-out of our web shop in new countries. The whole localization of our web shops and ensuring operational excellence will be your full responsibility. You will constantly develop and improve the shopping experience for some of the most demanding customers out there. As we grow you will be in charge of the development of our E-commerce platform.

Your responsibility:   

• Develop and expand our current web shop in existing and new countries
• Localize our current web shop to match the demands from customers in new countries
• Optimize and improve the shopping experience across all Barons’ country specific shops based on data driven analysis   
• Initiate new features that support an increase conversion rates, basket value, retention etc.
• Implementing plugins, integrations and add-ons in a sawy cost optimized way   
• Improving traffic acquisitions and funnels together with the marketing team   
• Make sure the sites are always up to date both operational and content wise together with the rest of the team  
• Responsible for ongoing split-testing
• Develop new applications such as interactive size guide, B2B-module, loyalty-platform, etc.

The ideal candidate is:

• A hardcore e-commerce Wizard who get things done
• +3 years of experience working with E-commerce (preferably WooCommerce)
• Always searching for the highest conversion but with respect to the brand building of Barons
• An expert when it comes to understanding web design and web analysis
• A good understanding of UI/UX and the way it influences the overall brand
• Experienced in attribution modeling, conversion rate optimization, split-testing, traffic analysis, reporting tools and customer journeys
• Strong in English and preferably in Danish (Danish is not a must)
• Detail-oriented, organized, very reliable and get things done on time
• Has an entrepreneurial “if I do not know it already, I’ll figure this out” kind of spirit
