This makes it possible for the restaurant to focus on what they do best, which is making amazing food and delivering great guest experiences and the GXM platform helps them run the business. 

Your Role 

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to help us own and build up our end-to-end marketing strategy and put SUPERB into the hands of premium restaurant owners and managers across the 28 markets we currently have customers in. The role calls for someone who excels at product marketing and building strategies and tactics to drive awareness, growth, adoption, and evangelism. Your goal is to generate massive awareness around the Guest Experience Management platform and it’s category (GXM), educating the market on how data-driven technology will make it easier for restaurants make better decisions about their guests, business and performance  

Our ideal candidate is someone who has built a scalable, sustainable marketing function centered around a SaaS or technology brand and have experience with managing a variety of growth projects, end-to-end campaigns, demand generation, and conversion optimization. You will have sharp acumen in representing the voice of the customer, and therefore be able to understand what makes restaurant business and people tick by applying both tech and psychology principles into your marketing efforts. As change is constant in a startup, you must have an entrepreneurial approach to build the marketing function & team from the ground up. Simply, figure out what works and what doesn’t to scale our demand generation 📈

You will be reporting and working together with our Chief Growth Officer and Head of Content to establish the marketing strategy, messaging, and materials for the GXM platform. Conclusively, This is a role for someone who has been part of building something from zero to hero and is looking to do it again. 


Your Responsibilities 

  • Creating and execution of the marketing strategy and owning the translation of that strategy into tangible go-to-market plans that will help us achieve our ambitious goal of introducing and generating strong brand awareness on a new product category: the GXM platform 
  • Building, maintaining, measuring, and optimizing our marketing channel mix, particularly organic growth initiatives that resonate with our ideal customer persona.
  • Influencing product strategy and the way we bring products to market, combining research, positioning, and messaging to maximize adoption.
  • Build, manage, coach, and grow the marketing team
  • Grow revenue by capturing qualified leads for our sales teams
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CGO / CEO and Board of Directors


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Proven work experience as a Head of Marketing, Growth Manager or other senior roles 
  • Demonstrated success scaling a growth team across all functions and creating the systems and processes for setting strategy, planning, and ongoing execution.
  • Qualitative expertise including positioning the brand, developing marketing materials and storytelling consistent with that positioning, and executing on media campaigns.
  • Quantitative expertise including user acquisition strategies, economics, and other funnel optimizations associated with growth
  • You know funnels and you know them well.
  • Experience in developing integrated marketing strategies (content, events, paid media, PR, organic and social) to drive growth through brand awareness in key markets
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.

Within twelve months, we grew from a few customers in Denmark to serving restaurants in over 28 countries, including the world's most number one restaurant by the World’s 50 Best List: Osteria Francescana. We knew that restaurants wanted more insights about their guests and business performance, but their current systems did not allow them as they were fragmented and outdated. We decided to build the first all-in-one platform to run a restaurant, to make restaurant people run better businesses. In 2018, we got backed by the biggest venture capital firm in Denmark to perfect our GXM platform and make it ready for international scale. Our headquarter is in the center of Copenhagen, filled with 20+ amazing people with backgrounds from Uber, Joe & Juice and Red Bull, joined together to help built the SUPERB brand and spread the Guest Experience Management category to restaurants across to the world. 🌏
