LuggageHero is a trailblazing luggage-storage network that operates via the peer-to-peer sharing economy system and been featured in New York Times, Forbes and Lonely Planet. We are looking for an intern for marketing, and communication to start in September. At LuggageHero you will be part of a fast-growing company that besides having a local market in Copenhagen also dominates the markets in London and New York.


Your educational background

We imagine that you are in the late part of you bachelor or the beginning of your master with a focus on marketing and communication from CBS, RUC, KEA or CPH Business. If you are not studying one of the above mentioned, but are into working with marketing and communication and have a relevant profile we would be happy to hear from you.

You will get experience with the following tasks

• Online marketing towards a new and exciting segment

• Preparation of Social Media Strategy

• Handling websites (Wordpress)

• Blog posts

• Analysing SEO pages with online tools and optimizing in accordance

• Project management

• Learning about starting a tech company

• Research

• Sales

• Promotion

• Customer Service

Your competences

• Having an interest in marketing and sale

• You are extroverted and independent

• You have tried/have flair for graphical and textual updating of websites

• You speak and write English on a high level (or more languages)

• You are interested in the startup environment

• You follow the development of marketing and social media

Danish founder and CEO Jannik Lawaetz started LuggageHero in 2016 in Copenhagen with 50 drop off-points. In 2017 the company expanded to London and New York with more than 350 storage locations. In 2019 LuggageHero expanded to +36 new cities and currently has more than 1000 storage partners globally spread across Europe and North America. Despite being slowed down during the pandemic, in 2021+2022 the company has plans to expand additionally and get further funding.
