Salary Competitive

Volt is a start-up in the festival industry, who is looking for a new colleague in our team to help us further develop our IT systems. Do you want to work in an informal, fun environment on Nørrebro where you can also take responsibility and gain valuable work experience? Then you might be our new developer!

The position

We are looking for a developer who will be responsible for developing new features in close collaboration with our sales and festival operations teams.

  • New feature development, front- and backend
  • Maintaining our platforms and APIs
  • If you have relevant experience, develop new features for our React Native based POS-system used at festivals

Your educational background isn’t as important as your ability to get things done. We value people who can learn fast and share our mindset, but preferably you have experience with both front and backend development.

Moreover, experience with the following programming languages and technologies is preferred:

  • PHP
  • JavaScript (React.js)
  • REST API design
  • MySQL/SQL
  • React Native
  • Bitbucket

The perks

  • You will become part of a young, international and fun office team
  • You will be working closely with your new colleagues as well as the previous software engineers to introduce you to the systems and help you solve your tasks
  • You will be attributed as much responsibility as you show interest for and ability to manage
  • You will be able to arrange flexible working hours together with the team

Practicalities

You will be working from Volt HQ in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

Working hours will be project-based, but approx. 10-15 hours a week for the next couple of months with the potential to work more during the summer (festival season). We will agree on working hours that fit your schedule, and you will also be able to work from home from time to time. We can decide on a starting date together.

Salary will match your qualifications.

Working at
Volt

Volt provides high quality digital services and mobile charging solutions for music festivals and events. Our solutions take us to some of the biggest European music festivals in Denmark, UK and Germany along with partnerships with the major B2C brands within telco, insurance and electricity. We are constantly pursuing new innovative digital solutions to improve the event and festival experience in close dialogue with our more than 200.000 valued customers. At Volt we seek to combine the vibe of a dynamic and very ambitious workspace with the atmosphere of a friendly and social setting. We are a smaller team, therefore we are pulling the load, walking that extra mile and afterwards celebrating the success together across the organisation. We have different profiles with different fields of expertise, and we believe that commitment and sharing this expertise is what makes the team. We love new ideas, proactiveness and the willingness to take responsibility. This goes for both our social scene, as well as in a business perspective. Most importantly we love to include new members to the Volt family, if you can identify with and support these values.
