We are looking for a talented Senior PHP Developer in Copenhagen to help us serve content to millions of people around the world.

The Role:

We’ve been running on high-speed for the last two years rebuilding our main system and are now in the process of developing new products for our clients and new exciting user-facing components that will be first-in-class in the music industry. 

We're looking for the right person to grab the ownership of the platform that is the technical foundation of Linkfire: The application responsible for routing thousands of users to music every day. 

You'll be working with a full stack team that focuses on building and maintaining Linkfire's iconic user-facing components.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the full-stack team, take on the development of core components and support us in exploring Biz Dev opportunities
• Collaborate with our integrations team on building, maintaining and optimizing core components for our scalable platform
• Participate and contribute with feedback in the decision making for back-end implementations
• Optimize code and refactor when needed
• Be able and willing to test and document your code and report any issues you find
• Stay updated on the field of back-end development through attending company training as well as self-education

Abilities and Skills:

• +5 years of Back-end development
• Fluent with PHP
• Experience with Phalcon is a plus
• Basic knowledge of front-end development is expected, experience in front-end development is an advantage
• Experienced in Unit Testing
• Experienced in taking architectural decisions on development
• Strong execution skills and excellent team player
• Motivated by being given high-levels of responsibility 
• Comfortable with working in an international environment and fluent in English
• Being familiar with the Scrum framework is a plus

Physical sales are going down. Legal downloads and in particular streaming are gaining momentum.

Not inside music services, but outside where fans and artists engage. Our approach is to index digital music across music services and provide smart links that route fans directly to the music regardless of their location or which player or platform they use.
