Nordic Startup Awards is looking for a new graphic designer for a student job to be part of our HQ team in Aarhus (run by WeLoveStartups). As an NSAwards employee, you will be working closely with the management team on a wide range of projects, helping us to get our message across visually on our website, social media platforms, and materials for our national and regional competitions, as well as other Nordic and international events. This position gives the opportunity for you to expand our brand through many different platforms and projects.
This student job is ideal for a skilled graphic design student who is looking to learn and be challenged by a highly creative work environment, while building a killer portfolio.

Responsibilities
•    Work with brand marketing on Facebook and LinkedIn posts, Tweets, Instagram images, content & more.
•    Work in the execution of internal and external communications, such as client newsletters, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, web design,

GIFs, event branding, etc.
•    Creation of brand templates for social media platforms.
•    Serve as a “brand champion" to ensure proper use of brand guidelines and templates.
•    Assist in the development of internal and external marketing.
•    Work independently/collaboratively with management on creative operations, brand development and continuity.
•    Understand and incorporate brand standards in creative elements to ensure uniformity and consistency of the brand in communications in all of

our channels.
•    Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
•    Use computer software to generate new images.
•    Research and evaluate new technology and digital strategies.
•    Work on special projects as needed.

 Qualifications
•    Love to create, modify and implement new and creative design ideas.
•    Familiar with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat; video experience is a plus.
•    Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and international teams.
•    Ability to translate brand mission and values into dynamic and captivating visuals.
•    Bringing projects to a working state.
•    Rigorous eye for details and well organized.
•    Creative mindset and “out of the box” thinking.
•    Ability to multitask and to adapt easily to changes.
•    Ability to follow style guides, instructions, and constructive feedback.
•    Able to work independently when necessary.
•    Proper grammar usage, spelling, and quality of writing is highly critical to this role.

The period of the student job is from May until November 2018.
