You are finishing up your studies in the next year or so, and you are likely studying something with ”data”, ”analytics”, ”numbers”, ”quantitative” in the description. If these are your hobbies instead, don’t let that hold you back.

You are curious and ask for clarification.

Ideally, you’ve spent enough time in Excel, SPSS, R, MatLab, or other analytics tools to know your way around a spreadsheet.

We gather data from multiple sources, so scraping and cleaning data sounds like something you would like.

You are quality conscious, and you check your work.
