Can you navigate the different social media channels, do you know how to grow followings across everything from Facebook to LinkedIn and can you build and deliver a strong social media campaign strategy, then you might just be the one TechBBQ are looking for.
TechBBQ is the largest and oldest tech entrepreneurship event with almost 6 years under the belt, going from a beta conference at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 2013 to 4000 guests at Øksnehallen in 2017.
We aim to further tech entrepreneurship and innovation in Denmark as well as get Denmark and the Nordics on the map as an important European innovationshub. We are the annual event where everyone from the environment meet, celebrate the successes, learn from the failures, nurse established network and make new ones. Every strong entrepreneurial hub has its flagship event - and TechBBQ is ours.
As Social Media Intern you will be an integral part of the team behind the event. You will work in close relation with our PR and marketing teams and answer to our marketing manager.
Your tasks will include:
- Develop and deliver Social Media campaigns
- Grow the following across all channels
- Optimise Social Media presence
- Administration of all social media accounts belong to TechBBQ
- Develop and produce promo videos
- Graphic design for the event
We are looking for you who…
- know your Facebook communication from your LinkedIn communication
- have experience with inDesign
- have experience with video editing
- can work well under pressure
- can keep a budget
- understand how to navigate in an environment with many stakeholders and diverse interests

This is a volunteer position (min. 20 hrs/w) with primary work hours Monday to Friday 9-17 at our office in Copenhagen. The closer we get to the event, the more hours you are required to put in and also working at least the weekend up to the event.
