Silvi is an end-to-end screening and data extraction tool supporting Systematic Literature Review and Meta-analysis. Silvi.ai was founded in 2018 by Professor in Health Economic Evidence, Tove Holm-Larsen, and expert in Machine Learning, Rasmus Hvingelby. The idea for Silvi stemmed from their own research, and the need to conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses faster. The ideas behind Silvi were originally a component of a larger project. In 2016, Tove founded the group “Evidensbaseret Medicin 2.0” in collaboration with researchers from Ghent University, Technical University of Denmark, University of Copenhagen, and other experts. EBM 2.0 wanted to optimize evidence-based medicine to its highest potential using Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, but needed a highly skilled person within AI. Around this time, Tove met Rasmus, who shared the same visions. Tove teamed up with Rasmus, and Silvi.ai was created. Silvi uses AI to increase the speed of collecting and analyzing published data to created meta-analyses and systematic literature reviews. When using Silvi, the researcher still makes all the scientific decisions, but with AI supporting data extraction, the speed of doing meta-analyses increases immensely. Silvi is directly connected to literature engines to ensure that the results are always up to date. These core qualities of Silvi ensures a tool that quickly helps you create high quality evidence that stays relevant. Silvi helps create systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses that follow Cochrane guidelines in a highly reduced time frame, giving a fast and easy overview. It supports the user through the full process, from literature search to data analyses. Silvi is directly connected with databases such as PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov and is always updated with the latest published research. It also supports RIS files, making it possible to upload a search string from your favorite search engine (i.e., Ovid). Silvi has a tagging system that can be tailored to any project. Silvi is transparent, meaning it documents and stores the choices (and the reasons behind them) the user makes. Whether publishing the results from the project in a journal, sending them to an authority, or collaborating on the project with several colleagues, transparency is optimal to create robust evidence.

At Akusis we deliver relevant content to the more than 1 million people suffering from hypertension. At the same time, we facilitate an easy to use blood pressure measurement proces, that enables general practitioners to receive patient reported data with a significant higher data integrity than the excisting solutions. An ease of mind solution for both patients and doctors, that saves and improves lives, and lowers the expenses in the Danish healthcare system. Hypertension is serious, and when not treated it could be fatal. However, the impact can be reduced, if treated properly and at an early stage. We have talked to a number of both patients and doctors, and from this we learned: * Doctors require more than 500.000 measurements a year. Measurements are performed by the patients in their own home, and self-reported into an existing digital solution. * Measuring and entering data in the system can be difficult, and leads to mistakes in about 36% of the total measurements performed. This gives doctors a poor chance of diagnosing correctly. * There is a need of a more simple and intuitive system, that can reduce the number of bad measurements. * Furthermore, the patients report, that they need information on exactly what hypertension is, and what they can do themselves to lower their blood pressure levels (besides taking their medicine). * Patients feel left alone with a lot of questions, and no one to answer them. Instead they go online, and find the answers in various places, and too often answers that ends up worsening their condition. Our solution is based on our own website, and our mobile application. On both platforms we deliver the content that we know the patients need. Today it is scattered all over, and of mixed quality. We bring it all to a single place. On top of that, we add tailored treatment courses, and hand on tools to be implemented in an every day life, giving the patients a chance to act and improve. Our content is delivered by experts in the areas of sleep, exercise and nutrition, as we know that is what the patients ask for. For those that want more than just information, we deliver access to an easy to use measurement proces, by using the equipment already at hand. Historical readings can be seen on the application, notes can be taken, and it is even possible to send the data to the doctor. The combination of the above signigicantly reduces the impact of hypertension in Denmark, and represents an approach to this specific disease, that doesn´t exist today. The idea for this specific project comes from a member of the founder team, Kurt Rasmussen, and is further developed by the other team members, who are both health tech engineers. Kurt is a general practioner with more than 25 years of experience, and has for (too) long experienced issues related to poor quality of blood pressure measurements, and patients that want to do more, but don´t know how to. We strongly, both as general practitioner and health tech engineers want to improve the every day life of patients, and enabling them to life longer, fuller and richer lives, free from worries and not needed complications. By developing Akusis BPM System, we are able to do so, and at the same time reduce the costs of treating hypertensive patients in DK. We claim, that when fully implemented, we are able to reduce the costs in the amount of billions - even conservatively put around 2-3 of them every year.

Connecting Grounds is a food start-up based in Aarhus that up-cycles spent coffee grounds (a.k.a. coffee waste) into a food ingredient for B2B snack and confectionary companies and restaurants. Why do we do it? 1. Environment Spent coffee grounds are often treated as waste. Think about how many cups of coffee you or the people around you drink per day. All the coffee waste from drinking coffee adds to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 2. Nutritional Value When we brew our cup of coffee, we are only taking advantage of 1% of coffee's nutrients. 99% of these nutrients stay in the spent coffee grounds. These nutrients include caffeine, dietary fibre, proteins and valuable minerals. What we do is change the narrative behind hidden food waste by starting with coffee by-products. By up-cycling such a product, we evert emissions, take advantage of our resources and raise awareness on the importance of up-cycling. Rethinking food is what we do, and we will not stop with coffee by-products. We will continue to search for resources/ingredients that have the potential of being reintroduced in the food stream, again.

We create building materials for modern sustainable and toxic-free buildings combining hundreds of years of knowledge and tradition with modern production- and building techniques. Our aim is to make sustainable building commercially viable. Our first product is Lundby Pladen - a strong and fireproof building board made of unburned clay and woodfiber, designet for classic dry-wall construction. In the sustainable building industry there has been a long anticipation for this product. Unburned clay is the optimal material for inner walls in vapor diffusionon open building techniques as preferred in biobased sustainable building. With a strong and light building board we have solved the problem of unburned clay solutions being either too slow, heavy, fragile or expensive for commercial building. The building industry is responsible for between 17-40% of the worlds Co2 emissions. With Lundby Pladen it will be possible to fireprove biobased buildings with a low-emmission, toxic-free and environmentally harmless high quality material, and thus help making our buildings a genuine Co2-storrage instead of as now, a major Co2 polluter. In the coming years the building industry is facing new environmental laws, and will be increasingly depending on products like Lundby Pladen. We experience a major pull from the marked. Building supply markets, architects, craftsmen, standart house developers and entrepreneurs are waiting impatiently for our product to hit the marked.
