Worthmore

A note from the Founder not generated by AI :D Have you ever thought about how amazing it is that we can instantly communicate with anyone around the world at anytime wirelessly? Personally, I have been intrigued by the devices and the invisible fields that connect us all since I was much younger. From the smartphone to the services that power it - and while they are great for everything they do, I felt the business model of selling phones and SIM cards hasn't really changed since the industry first began - more importantly to me it lacked heart and consideration for people and the planet. So about 2 years ago, I started working on Worthmore. Today, we're a small team on a mission to disrupt telecom for the good of people and the planet and redefine what a mobile phone subscription can be. We market Worthmore more as a membership to a community focused on making the world a better place first - not just a mobile phone subscription. Our goal is to transform your choice of telecom provider into a meaningful decision to become part of something bigger. In fact, we tell our members that they get the SIM card for free just for being a part of what we do. As a member, you enjoy the same great telecom services & prices (in most cases better or cheaper) - plus added perks of saving money at impactful brands and services. On top of this, for each member of our community, Worthmore pledges 15kr/mo to the "Worthmore Impact Fund," which supports people and tangible projects working towards a future we can all be proud of. See our first video here https://youtu.be/Vo9SuuD07jw?si=tYlO_Z0YUo0vOuFy The mission is to prove that in a dinosaur industry like telecom - doing good is good business. That by supporting causes instead of wasting money on ads, we can build a movement and a community that is connected by more than just the SIM cards in their devices. They are connected with a common goal of working towards a future we can all be proud of. We are still in the very early stages, and since I don't come from money, and I didn't start this with a small loan of a million dollars from my dad, it has been a struggle to even get this far...but we now have our first working SIM cards - we have our website - we have the basic skills, and most importantly, we have the motivation to keep pushing things forward. Every time I see that it says Worthmore in the top corner of my phone instead of Telia, Lebara, or whoever, I'm reminded that we have succeeded in building a way to help people #ConnectWithPurpose. So - As a founder with an extremely limited budget and nothing but an overwhelming sense of optimism and a passion for what he's building - I write this letter to reach out to those who also want to be part of our mission - we could use the help. I look forward to connecting with some of you soon for an interview, and if you've read this far, you're probably the type of person we're looking for :D Tegan Spinner CEO & Founder @Worthmore

Resights

They claim data is the new oil - and we have democratised the drilling tool for the entire real estate industry. Resights is an online platform compiling available property data from 20 different databases (incl. public registries like BBR, CVR, Ejerfortegnelsen (EJF) and Tinglysningen, as well as building up our own proprietary datasets about transactions and rental statistics). We offer all necessary information about properties in Denmark as a SaaS solution, to give our customers everything they need to get an overview, whether they use it to scope potential investments, find property information or much more. Our customer portfolio are from many different fields and comprise lawyers, architects, engineers, investors, real estate agents, property developers and accountants. And this has only been possible, due to our uncompromising approach to hiring the best people 💙 We are a fast-growing, early-stage startup with currently 45 amazing people in our team. This implies more responsibility, taking ownership of tasks, and being receptive to constant change, which is not necessarily for everyone. Recently, we could afford to rent a pretty neat office in the city centre, with everything needed to get you going like free lunch, a kitchen jam-packed with food, cold beverages, fruit and a great coffee machine. Other things in office that make you smile are anything from fierce battles in Mario Kart to blind tastings and the sound of a gong, when new sales are made. However, we believe that benefits are more than free beers and a market-rate paycheck. While we check those boxes (😉), we know the most important benefits are the ones that speak to you on a deeper, more personal level. And though as you might sense we have a laid back work culture, people choose to come to the office. Why? This os a place you want to spend your day, due to the high spirit, a workday full of compelling problems and dedicated colleagues. What really defines us is not our software but the 45 ambitious people behind it. Resights is a collection of nerdy team players who in less than two years have built one of the fastest growing startups in Denmark (yes that is true). All the while we had fun - because that's truly a part of our DNA 🧬 We might be highly ambitious but we are not jerks. At the end of the day, we are a business and not a family. However, we still like to have a little fun together. Outside of work, we like to travel, celebrate, exercise and laugh together. It's not mandatory, but it's pretty natural for us.

Puori

Puori was created in 2009 by the two founders, Oliver Amdrup-Chamby’s and Julius Heslet’s, uncompromising desire to supplement their own active lifestyle. It started with creating a high quality, potent omega-3 fish oil - a gap in the market which no existing product was able to fill. The mission was clear from the beginning: to be the best at offering pure, clean & superior products that make a difference to people's health and levels of wellbeing. Since then, the product portfolio has grown to address the main nutritional deficiencies in the developed world in the most uncompromising way possible.

Dream Delivery

Dream Delivery is a foodtech startup on a mission to make food delivery fair for restaurants and couriers through democratic ownership. Say goodbye to the abusive tech giants - now we take control! THE DEMOCRATIC SOLUTION TO FOOD DELIVERY Dream Delivery began with a wish to stop the exploitation that couriers and restaurants experience from the current takeaway platforms. At the moment, couriers get a low salary and are afforded very few rights. Meanwhile, restaurants are forced to hand over large chunks of their revenue without getting any control in return. We are rethinking takeaway from the buttom up by democratizing the ownership of food delivery, along with the profits and the control. A TRULY UNIQUE STARTUP Dream Delivery is a democratic enterprise, also known as a cooperative. Cooperatives have in common that they are owned by a broad group of people, whose needs are met by the company. Decisions are made democratically, and all owners have one vote each. Ordinary people deserve to have a greater say – and that extends to our workplaces! This is what Dream Delivery is all about. THE DREAM TEAM Dream Delivery's developer team consists of young and dedicated idealists skilled within business strategy, organizing, software development and design. Our offices are in the heart of Copenhagen, with the opportunity for remote work, as well. Do you have the democratic spirit and entrepreneurial mindset to help changing takeaway and tech for the better? Well, what are you waiting for - hit us up!

MoveNation

MoveNation is a startup company of people that want to make the worlds best country moving platform. Our first goal is to help 1 million people moving with a strong focus on leisure financial freedom. We are backed by the venture capital fund Antler.co. We work towards making country moving as transparent and easy as possible. Today we see moving country as challenging as booking airline tickets before the 1990's and before Expedia, Momondo etc - complex, expensive and super slow. Our mission is to make it as easy to move nations as it is to book an airline ticket. Our solution is to give our users an instant overview of all the options that nations have to offer. How many steps it requires to move and the total costs of everything included. (advisors, taxes, etc) When we succeed with the above we will truly have made an impact and changed the world. Thinking BIG - We believe that we can change entire countries by helping more people move from expensive cities to less expensive cities. Moving pensions & wealth will create entire new economies. We believe we can help retirees with bad health conditions retire 10 year earlier if they had the insights of where they alternatively could retire and live from their savings. We are in the absolute early-stage of our journey and you will have a huge influence on shaping our way forward.

That's what we believe for ourselves and for our Employees. See a short intro video to Handyhand here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DWfQavdBQ0&ab_channel=Handyhand Read more about our journey and what the press says about us here: https://handyhand.dk/hvemervi What some former Interns said about working at Handyhand: Helena Ottesen - Marketing Fra januar til marts 2021 var jeg content- og marketing praktikant hos Handyhand. Krisztian Szabo - Developer "Working as an intern at Handyhand has been a positive experience for me. As is the case with many start-ups, this collaboration implied a great deal of independence and the ability to decide for myself how to best reach my goals. I was tasked with building Handyhand's mobile app from scratch, that is supposed to replicate the functionalities offered by the web platform. After some initial planning where we decided on the technology stack that will be used, I was free to devise the product's architecture and implementation. During the internship period I worked in a focused manner, such that by the end of it, about 80% of the app's functionality had been developed. This degree of freedom and responsibility might not be suitable for everybody, but for anyone that feels up to the challenge, I highly recommend this experience." Mihail-Sebastian Rotar - Developer "My internship at Handyhand was more than beneficial for me. My initial expectations were consisting of learning how to develop mobile applications from scratch. At Handyhand I not only had the chance to learn about that, but I have also been considered valuable to take part in the meetings the company had in terms of growth and fundings which they are aiming for. I consider this was ideal for me as I am planning to build my own mobile business in the next years."
